When a high school swimmer disappears during an offshore swim, Casey Marsh, a new student at the school and  in town, bands together with the school’s misfits to expose the swim team’s sinister involvement and connection to something black, slimy, tentacled and unnatural in the water. Digging up a decades-old supernatural cult conspiracy (which hits close to home for some members of these misfits) they must take down if they want to save not only themselves, but their town, and, possibly, the world.
